It can be used on different types of flooring such us carpets, tiles, linoleum, etc.  it is designed in such a way to adjust itself to work on different surfaces.  It is light weight and so there won’t be any problem carrying it up the stairs. Having said all this, there is one inconvenience about this vacuum cleaner that is its cleaning path is narrow.  This makes cleaning a little long and tiresome.  The size of the dust cup could also have been a little bigger.
